This is a vintage pewter or brass 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" belt buckle that features a relief illustration of an antique/19th century fire wagon with horses. The text says "America's Heroe's Fire Dept." There also looks to be an area at the bottom that is blank to engrave the name of the city or fireman.

This belt buckle has a lot of detail and texture, so it is hard to tell if there are any scratches or dings. The smooth parts have some pinpoint sized dents that may have occurred during production. The belt attachments on the back are in perfect condition. This buckle has the color of pewter, but the hardness of brass so I am not entirely positive on what to call it. It is however, definitely heavy.

The belt buckles in my store belonged to a family member who was a collector who kept good care of them. They are mostly from the 1970s and 1980s.

My items are packed and shipped with care. Thank you kindly for looking!
