Peach and Pink Steampunk Otter with a dark purple and magenta top hat and purple scarf. It is an original work of art, size 8" x 10".

One of the original batch of steampunk beasts, this original drawing can be yours at a newly reduced price as I try to make room in my tiny office! It would be difficult to find a lower price on detailed pen and ink work of this type - and it is almost the holiday season! Thank you so much for considering The Slumbering Herd to brighten your life or the lives of your friends and family.

An extremely crafty fellow, Mulveg the Otter rejected the days of swimming free in rivers with his friends and set out to become the Greatest Otter Inventor of All Time! For his first adventure he was a mere eight months old and only got to the end of the block before scampering home for lunch.

He packed a lunch for his second attempt a few weeks later. But he ran into his best friend as he was passing the pie shop, and Mulveg offered to share his lunch in exchange for half a slice of banana cream pie. That was the last time he ran away, but finally he went to University and there began to invent things in earnest. The first working gadget was a large contraption with water-wheel power that would tie a bow on presents of a certain size. The eyepiece he is wearing is a very accurate compass and magnifying device. Mum otter is terrifically proud.

Original, 8" x 10" whimsical illustration made with Copic fine line pens and archival quality markers. The paper is a heavy drawing board made by Canson, with a smooth Bristol finish. The colors are amazingly rich but they may vary slightly from what you see on your monitor. The color goes all the way to the edge of the board and the shop name does not appear on the drawing.

Will be carefully shipped in a clear plastic acid-free sleeve in a sturdy mailer. If mailed in the US, shipping will include insurance and proof of delivery. Thank you for dropping in!
