Vintage Early 1900s HATTER’S OR MILLINER’S WOOD
CURLED HAT BRIM FORM TOOL in Near Fine Restored Condition.

USED to FORM a Saddle-Shaped CURLED BRIM Dress Western Style referred to as ‘DAKOTA’ with a PEDIGREE THAT REACHES BACK into the 1800’S.

[1] FLANGE or BRIM FORM ― SIZE: 7 3/8 (actual opening 24), 3 1/4’’
MANUFACTURERS STAMPS: ‘7 3/8, ‘3 1/2’ (actual max width 3 1/4’’) and ‘911’

BRIM: Visual edge extends 2.75” in the front and 2.5” on the sides. It has the equivalent of a 3/4” radius D’Orsay style side curl that tapers to 3/8” radius in the front and back. The Overall Silhouette is 11.75” x 13.65”

Naturally, brim width may be varied to create a variety of profiles.
