OH the Fabrics! So many various cottons in graphic triangle, pyramid pattern, all hand pieced, yummy browns, cinnamon, coppers, madders, reds, indigos, perkins purple, shirtings, chintzs with glaze and sizing intact. Then there are the BIRDS...and the CHERUBS, and LIL RED RIDING GOOD AND THE WOLF....Charming!! 2 ends are unfinished, need to add or alter to make square....couple small spots, hard to see, one brown stripe triangle is split but it is on the edge and can be replaced. Couple cheddar pieces and a few small spots of the purple have turned color due to the dyes used in the late 1800's. Some of these fabrics may date to the 1870's and 1880's.....there about....and are still vibrant. This is definitely a ooak keeper, to quilt and finish or display as is.
