"Novices' Procession" b&w&color linoleum block print and serigraph, limited edition & signed in pencil by the artist. 1970, State II, 30" x 12" approx. First and only edition of 10. There is also a color edition, which is sold out. Printed on acid free Japanese mulberry paper.

This listing is for the framed print. Shipping by UPS will be close to $150, unless you can drive to Florida's west coast and pick it up. There are copies of this edition with different color suns. If you'd like an unframed print (which ships for $15) contact the artist and she will list one on Etsy for you.

The frame is plywood that adds too the rustic feel of the print, and is slim so the framed print hugs the wall and feels more an architectural part of it. Plexi-glass is used and acid free mat board. The peach/orange mat inside is Thai faux-silk laminated to acid free mat board.

There is another print on this theme, "Taking Novices to the Temple" listed on Etsy below.

When young men ordain as monks in Thailand, there is a big festival ending in a procession dancing to the temple and around it three times. Here they came by canal and danced in the boats and up the banks. Note the drummer.

Contact the artist for cost of shipping outside the USA.

Up to 5 large unframed/unmatted prints can be shipped together for the price of one, or up to 10 small unframed ones. But matted/framed prints can't ship with unmatted/unframed prints, unless they are smaller than the frame or mat.

Florida residents must pay 6.5% sales tax.
