This rarely-seen mutation has only recently been documented, although rumors of its existence have been surfacing for nearly a century. The most recent specimen was harvested in December 2010 by Captain Barrymore “Where does it hurt?” Campwell, a longtime lobsterman from Presque Isle, Maine, and now resides in a private aquarium. The lobster, not Captain Campwell.

Chrysmatus’ portait has been lovingly handpainted on soft white upholstery fabric by a crustacean afficionada from the Left Coast. This indoor-outdoor pillow comes as a 15"x20" rectangle or a 20" square and is meant to withstand the harshest abuse that the climate or household members can dish out. Removable polyester fiberfill insert machine washes and dries; the cover may be spot cleaned, hosed off or gently machine washed and air dried.

Great for a boatwarming party, or a thoughtful gift for the lobster-loving guy or gal who has everything else. Not a transfer, reproduction or print of any kind, but an artist’s original, right down to his fine feelers. Looks good with other designs from this shop. Designed, painted, sewn, stuffed, signed and copyrighted on an island north of Seattle, Washington.
