this is a crochet PATTERN only, so that you can make your own wingfeathers shawl!

simplicity is a beautiful thing, and this beginner-friendly pattern will highlight any gorgeous solid or multi-colored yarn. both samples above were made with one skein of sock yarn (approximately 400 yards), but honestly, any size yarn will work! the shawl is worked from the top/center down, so you can stop whenever you like (or run out of yarn). my samples are mini-shawls, perfect for wrapping around your neck as a scarf. double the yardage for a traditional larger shawl.

i will email the PDF to the address on your Paypal account within 24 hours (usually much less!)

what yarn did i use? why, so glad you asked! for the grey shawl i used the divine merino/cashmere kettle-dyed sock yarn by Jill Draper Makes Stuff: http://www.etsy.com/shop/jilldrapermakesstuff?section_id=6756416 (comes in hand-painted multis too!) and for the slowly-shifting multicolored sample i used Noro Kureyon Sock.
