Who could resist these faces?

These two beauties were once part of a 1930s toy set but have since become separated from their cart and driver. They are joined with an axle and two wheels between their front hooves. They don't stand on their own, but with a little propping they would make a lovely display piece. Made in Great Britain by Marx . Each horse is 5" from nose to tail and 4" high.

Condition: This has been well loved and played with. There are many minor scratches and one or two major ones that have damaged the lithography. Some rust. The two sides of the tin on the heads has slipped a little (see the 4th picture) but I don't think it would be too hard to ease it back together. I have cleaned this toy but haven't attempted any repairs. The holes and tabs are from the harnessing that attached it to the cart.
