The epitome of Dior's New Look for daytime. Mint green and white striped nylon seersucker shirt dress was designed by Jonathan Logan and retains it's three original tags. Eight Mother of Pearl buttons run down the front and it features a staunch metal side zipper. Peter Pan collar, cuffed sleeves and a delightfully full skirt. Retains original belt.

When I began my career in vintage a dozen or so years ago, I remember my Mother Dear (who worked at I. Magnin in the 1960s) mentioning that Jonathan Logan was a very highly sought after label in it's day. Heavily featured in Seventeen Magazine in the 1950s, this designer specialized in youthful fashions, come to life from your favorite fashion magazine.

**Do you know about vanity sizing? There was once a store called I.Magnin. Here in Portland, Oregon a lady of the mid 20th Century might wear a size 12 when she purchased things at Meier and Frank. At I. Magnin the same woman would wear a size 8. Many women were dedicated I. Magnin shoppers simply because of size. It's just a number ladies. Get out your tape measure and utilize the measurements provided below. An inch is always an inch an no matter your body type or weight.
