The current model is ver.17L from 2022-01-02.
They are made by the multi-material 3d printer of the Stratasys.
A hard plastic plate is inserted in rubber-like material for stiffness and durability. (See the section drawing. The blue area is the hard material. The actual material is not blue.) The rubber-like material is the hardest type which is the Shore hardness A95.
The red one is dyed from the White one. Mixing colors is available.
The CAD data was designed by myself.
Shipping cost (including handling) is constant regardless of the number.

But I messaged the seller and it turns out he had a few in stock and adjusted my order on the fly to get me the super low profile ones instead and they are absolutely perfect! I hate the ThinkPad red and prefer my laptop all black and so am incredibly grateful to the seller!

Very happy with this purchase. Honestly I was a bit skeptical that they wouldnt fit my Thinkpad X1 Yoga bc Lenovo changed their design since my last Thinkpad Yoga laptop but these fit perfectly! Took a while to ship to the US but worth the wait. I hate that Lenovo changed their design and didnt supply the soft rim caps, the standard caps are uncomfortable and have always switched out to the softrim, and the worst part is i couldnt find them anywhere until i came accross saoto’s etsy page. This is the small slim design with the smaller square cut out and it fit perfectly!! Though Its such a small item but it made a huge difference in something u use every day, Thank you Saoto!

Trackpoints are my favorite type of mice and softrims are the best trackpoints. I was disappointed to find out that lenovo doesn't make softrims for their newer thinkpads but so happy to find these on etsy! Shipping was super fast and they're everything I hoped for. They fit perfectly on my X1 Carbon Gen 9. Thank you so much!

Exceptional quality product, great customer service and a very small price to pay for a huge upgrade to usability of your computer! Do not hesitate to purchase this item. The difference this TrackPoint makes in performance is incredible. Accuracy, ease of use and comfort are greatly improved with this design. The flexible yet firm material is ideal. After using this TrackPoint for several weeks, I could never go back to the original which feels mushy, slow and frustrating to use by comparison. This product well designed, fits perfectly and is clearly superior to Lenovo's TrackPoint. On top of that, Mr. Saoto provides excellent and timely customer service. The product arrived a couple weeks before the estimated delivery time, and was packaged carefully and neatly. Would purchase again. Thank you very much Mr. Saoto!
