Jefferson Airplane Starship Album Cover Ornament Made Of Record Jackets
Grace Slick, Music

Handmade from the actual record jackets of damaged vinyl albums, this is an ornament featuring Jefferson Airplane and its successors, Jefferson Starship and Starship. One of the greatest of the 60s San Francisco bands, Jefferson Airplane originally featued Grace Slick, Marty Balin and Paul Kantner. They continued for years with many line-up changes, spin-off bands (including Hot Tuna) and name changes. Measuring approximately 5" in diameter (about the size of a grapefruit), the 20 panels making up the ball are images from the album covers of the various incarnations of the band. It hangs from a silver and white cord decorated with a multicolor guitar pick. Edges are finished with fine glitter.

Display it in your office, den, music room, or anywhere! It also makes a perfect Christmas ornament for any Airplane/Starship fan. Photos in this listing show the actual item you'll receive. Many other musicians and bands available - contact me to see if I have your favorite. No record jackets from playable albums were harmed in the creation of this item!

DID YOU KNOW?: Jefferson Airplane was the only band to play in all three of the landmark music festivals of the 60s - Woodstock, Monterey Pop and Altamont.
