"When dating, take her skating," says the 1950s paper ephemera -- a souvenir sticker for Artistic Skating at Skatelands, in Pittsburg, California, that was tucked into this pair of still-working roller skates.

They are in great condition for their age, around the 1950s. They have a proper shoe heel, and wheels that spin and say "Cleveland Skate Co."

Wonderful for a mid-century Mad Men-era display of sporting goods or quaint vintage DIY still life. We'll throw in the cute California advertising souvenir sticker if you like these skates.

They measure a petite size 3.

Measurements are 9-9.5 inches from toe to heel. The arch is 2 1/8th" across, the wheels measure 3.25 inches across.
