"Edward Abbott" late Forties/early Fifties cocktail dress.

Appears to be an early (good quality) sheer nylon over what feels like a silk crepe underskirt.

Ruched midriff feature. Long tight sleeves with zip at the bottom (ie that's how tight they are!) - designed to ruche over the lower arm and come over the wrist/back of hand slightly, while loose at upper arm.

Zip closure down the back.

Very good condition except for three tiny white marks on the back.

WAS £80 NOW £57.50

Approximate size 10 (UK), 8 (US), Continental A 40, B 36, or C 38.

Shoulder to shoulder 15 inches.
Shoulder to waist, 14".
Waist to hem 28".
Sleeve length 25".

** BUYERS PLEASE BE AWARE that Etsy has now started putting listings from other shops among other individual listings. Please make sure you keep an eye on the name of the shop you are looking at, as you could start out looking at something I am selling which you really like, and click on something else ('other things you might like/similar items') thinking it's from my shop when it's not. I'm so sorry they have done this and are confusing you as a customer. All my listings will mention my name - "Martin Faulkner - The Glamourist" somewhere at least once, and if there is spare space, have one or more of my 'Martin Faulkner, The Glamourist, or Painting The Clouds With Sunshine' logos among the listing pictures. Thankyou for your interest in my shop, please enjoy browsing it.**
