This quilt is made from a Thimbleberries pattern by Lynette Jensen called Vintage Stitches. Since I used a lovely blue/green/brown paisley print as the focus fabric, I named this version of the pattern Paisley Stitches. The quilt is a sampler type quilt featuring a different pattern in each of 12 blocks. Each block is framed in a solid brown fabric and then a cream fabric with a pretty swirl pattern, and then it has a lovely brown print for the sashing. The quilt is machine quilted in a all-over free-motion paisley design. The backing is not shown here, but is made fron the same fabric as the binding. The quilt measures 66"x84". The quilt is pictured in the last photo on a double sized futon type bed. It could be used on a double bed with a dust ruffle, and it will fit nicely on a twin sized bed.
As always, my quilts are made with cotton fabrics, thread, and Warn and Natural batting. The quilt is machine washable and machine dryable.
