This is a St. Therese Sacrifice Bead Bracelet also known as Good Deed Beads. A Sacrifice Bead Bracelet is a string of ten beads, which can be pulled and remain in place. They often include another Our Father bead so they can double as a one decade rosary.

The origin of these beads goes back to St. Therese of Lisieux, who as a child carried a small string of beads in her pocket to help her count the gifts she offered to God each day. When Therese would practice a virtue, such as letting someone else have their way, or refrain from a vice, such as gossip, she would secretly reach into her pocket and "pull a bead" to Jesus.

My Sacrifice bead bracelets are an original design and a first on Etsy! I have designed this bracelet so one can easily carry their sacrifice beads with them throughout the day. These beads are a very practical reminder of our need for sacrifice and prayer.

Some people push the bead towards St. Therese, with each sacrifice and then pull a bead back with each sin. Where will your beads end up at the end of the day?

Please let me know how long you would like your finished length. The bracelet pictured is 7 1/4". Which is a medium size....But I can easily make the same bracelet in a larger or smaller. I recommend taking your wrist size and adding 1".
