This fish, and its passenger, swam out of a dream and are now ready to continue their journey onward.

It is a poseable sculpture and is made of hand cut paper and is a combination of letterpress printing and hand watercoloring. The fish's head, wings, and tail are attached with copper wire spirals on which they pivot. The jaw also moves and when opened the eye looks down in anticipation of a meal.

This little fish is very beautiful in person. It is fun to make it move but also looks great on a stand or hanging. The stand is included and the mount for the stand can be easily converted for wall hanging.

With the wings closed the body of the fish (including the oars) measures 7 1/2" x 2 1/2".

This fish in this movie was the prototype (made before converting to letterpress plates) but in it you can see how the sculpture moves and to get a sense of scale:
