A super unique piece of architectural salvage, these vintage post office box doors would make a wonderful addition to your industrial decor. Made of metal with a nickel finish, the doors are quite hefty. Each measures approximately 5" tall by 3 5/8" wide. Circa 1960s.

A 10-pointed star sits around the letters A-J, with a knob in the center. A glass window sits below, displaying a number in fantastic typography. The Greek Key motif borders the edges of the door, along with a horizontal bar across the middle.

The combination is easily discovered by looking at the gears in the back while turning the dial clockwise, counter-clockwise, then clockwise again just like any standard combo lock. Eventually, gaps in each of the 3 gears will align, and you're golden!

These doors are extremely charming in their imperfectness. They show nice age and patina as well as other flaws including light scratches to the painted numbers. As you can see from the photos, each door varies slightly with different levels of patina and wear. Your door will be randomly selected from my inventory.

Please note, this listing is for ONE vintage post office box door. I do have a large quantity, so if you'd like to purchase multiples just convo me for a reserved listing.
