From the American Can Company in Chicago comes this great, sturdy adding machine. This calculator from the olden days is functional in in very good condition. This is a machine with stunning graphics from the period.

Patented in 1912 we can date this to 1912 to 1923. After that the company dropped "can" from their name as they stopped making cans and focused on these machines.

It measures 9.5 inches by 7.5 inches and about 9 inches tall.

All the levers move and perform their functions. The plate on the bottom states that it's "Model 5" and give the production number.

This has some paint loss over the past 100 years but not much. There is a small dent that shows up in the light. That dent is on the top.

A solid little beast of a machine this weighs a ton. It's not some tin toy.

Get this for the head of payroll, the accountant or the machine lover in your life. After all is said and done it works and these are somewhat sought after and rare. I am listing it below the going price for models that look FAR WORSE then this one. (I hope it goes to a good home).

The shipping will include tracking and insurance. (This is a heavy object).
