There is that something about home that calls out to all of us, and I think perhaps, that is the reason that I am drawn to welcoming little houses and why I am having so much fun making these little softies!

This listing is for the COME FLY WITH ME HOUSE pictured in the first 4 images.
It measures roughly 6" x 4".

Each house is one of a kind, made with designer cottons, wool felt and lightly stuffed with clean, carded wool~ a soft, natural creation!
Embellished with buttons, bows, natural silk cords and silk ribbons (hand dyed) (varies from house to house).

These houses are securely and well made but not intended as toys they would be suitable for gentle play by older children, or as decor in a child's room (out of reach of the under 3 crowd).

Sit your house on a shelf.
Hang it from a door knob or on the wall.
Display it with pillows on a bench or bed.
Give one to a friend as a thank you or a housewarming gift.

As these houses are lightly stuffed, they will be shipped as Light Packets from Canada.

Frequently asked questions about BeneathTheRowanTree

Sizes are described for each item. If you are purchasing for a specific use or space, please be sure to measure before ordering. As each silk piece is dyed custom for you, returns and exchanges are not generally made for pieces that are their described dimensions.
Every silk item will arrive with a postcard bearing detailed information about the item and its care. Generally, treat silk like your own hair (a protein fiber)~ wash gently in warm to cool water with a gentle shampoo or dish soap and hang to dry. Avoid laundry detergent. Direct sunlight (ie on a clothesline) can quickly damage silk. Tumble dry low for a brief time, best of all~ press with a warm iron while damp.
