This adorable small enameled strainer is so'oooo Kitsch! Such a gorgeous shade of turquoise. Both useful in the kitchen and for display on your counter top, it's just too pretty to put away.

It is older in age, and if not vintage, it is 'near' vintage, as it appears to have been well used. I say this because there is a line of reproduction colanders on the modern market very similar to this color and style. This colander has traces of utensil marks on the inside, some aging and crackling of paint on the base, and as all old enamel strainers do, some touches of rust around the handles and trim, all adding to its wonderful charm.

It is only 6 1/2" in diameter and 3 1/2" deep, such a little cutie, this strainer would make a cheery addition to your vintage kitchen collection.

Sure to bring a smile to your day!
