Number one in my "starving artist series", this is an original watercolor of red and pink flowers in a white pitcher, used as a vase. The style is expressionistic or impressionistic. I was working on getting a more spontaneous feel to this painting. I offer it here for less than most of my other watercolors, since I am planning on doing a series of these "sketches".

I decided to do this series to force myself to paint more spontaneously, a style which I highly admire but have difficulty actually putting into action. I call it the "starving artist series", because I will be selling each original painting in the series at starving artist prices. That is to say, it's a good deal for the buyer!! It also will be just enough to keep me in supplies to create more. That's about it. It will not be enough to feed me. I have to get food money working as a social worker. So, you can have original artwork, and I can keep practicing, until I'm a famous artist. Then the artwork you bought at such low prices will be worth a whole bunch of money! :o))

I do wish to keep the copyright of all of my art, nevertheless. If you make copies, it should be only for personal use and not for profit. And enjoy it. Please.
