Inspired by the Memphis Design Group of the 1980's, these earrings were made by artisan and designer Dale Jenssen, who now lives in San Antonio Texas. Jenssen no longer makes jewelry, but is known for her architectural detail pieces which continue to have the whimsical modern designs of her earlier work. The earrings are mini mobiles, done in whimsical plastic shapes and colors, with brushed aluminum tops.

For more information on Dale Jenssen's work see her website:

Each earring is 3 5/8 inches long from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring, and 1 1/2 inches wide with a dimensional depth of 3/4 inches.

The earrings are constructed with a variety of hand cut plastic pieces, beads, and loops, hanging from brushed aluminum crescents. The pair is in very good condition. The plastic is free of damage or wear, as is the aluminum. The ear wires are in good condition, and appear to be stainless steel.

A fabulous and fun pair of 1980's mobile earrings with the whimsy and colorful designs of the Memphis Design Group, which I believe inspired the artist. I have another pair of Dale Jenssen earrings also listed. Look at the "Earrings" category on the right, or do a search in this shop for Dale Jenssen to find them.
