Whether you use these small ceramic side dishes for sushi, appetizers, asparagus, corn on the cob, bread sticks, cheese, butter or other uses, they are sure to make a statement! Customers tell me they use these as a spoon rest, or as a jewelry tray, too.

I created this 3" wide x 8" long tray out of white stoneware clay and dropped in the recessed center. Then I layered my glazes to achieve this stunning toasty shino glazed design. It's a contemporary take on a very old glaze that has been used for centuries.

These plates are very durable and may be used in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. It also makes a wonderful wall hanging for a small space.

I have little canape spreaders that will complement these plates. You can add one to your order by using the drop down menu.

It is very difficult to gift wrap your pottery since I need to make sure it has lots of bubblewrap and peanuts surrounding it so it arrives intact. However, I am very happy to tie a ribbon around the packing material and to include a hand written card with a message from you inside the box.
