Glass spider beads.
The guy was saying they were vintage and I was certain he was extending the truth or playing on the language barrier (a.k.a. lying thru his teeth. How old is glow-in-the-dark strung on monofiliment just likely to be anyhow? doh). But thinking these would be a sure hit with my kid, I bought a bunch. I'd never seen them before and when I don't act on something like this, I never see them again.
Turns out she wasn't as excited about them as I was. Go figure.

So I offer a strand of 20 pressed glass beads in the shape of a spider. They are transparent, colorless glass with random swirls of white and glow in the dark speckles. The specks glow green after exposed to light (bright but not real long lasting). Each is the same design on both sides and measure 1/2" (14 mm), 4 mm thick with a threading hole a bit less than 1 mm. The 8-legged critters have a small clear glass seperator bead in between of which some are aurora lustered, some are wet look lustered and some are plain clear.
New and unused. Strung on thick plastic line.

This arachnid is a teriffic actor. He can look either cute or dark depending his suroundings. Great for a whimisical or creepy touch to your projects.

Check out my extremely poor attempt at capturing the phosphorescence.
