A really unique container made from thin wood shaped into a cylinder with bands at the top and bottom held in place with a metal band at back seam and with industrial staples. Originally used to ship metal chain - probably used in hardware or general store. Front of container says "Taylor Made Chain - since 1873. S. G. Taylor Chain Co. Hammond, Indiana.

What's also neat is that is has some writing on the back - not sure if it was to keep up with what was in the container or what was left of the chain and lists an order number.

Has a great industrial/rustic look and would be great for display or way to store a collection of items, use for umbrella stand or as an office waste basket. Has full bottom intact. There is not a lid. Item is in great shape. Measures 14.25" tall, 11" diameter and 35" in circumference.

I can ship internationally and I am happy to combine shipping on multiple items. Just convo me and I will make any changes needed.
