Pointillism: a neo-impressionistic painting technique introduced by Georges Seurat. And how better to represent all of those little points of paint than with little round jewels? (I guess, technically, that makes all of my straps pointillism, but, I digress.) Seurat's painting, hanging in the Art Institute of Chicago, is ten feet wide, and took him nearly two years to paint. My strap? Not so much, but let's face it, my canvas is only 2" wide.

Starting with a top quality silver guitar strap with leather ends, craft jewels are individually hand-set to create this work of art. This strap features my interpretation of the woman and the monkey from the far right side of "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grand Jatte," in crystal, black, blue, green, light green, brown, pink, and light orange acrylic jewels in various sizes, to create depth and sparkle.

Still images DO NOT do this strap justice! In person (and under stage lights) the faceted jewels shimmer and sparkle with the slightest movement, creating a dazzling effect that really draws the eye. Have no concern about the jewels falling off – they’re permanently and VERY securely set. (I use a jeweled strap every time I play out, and I have never lost a jewel!)

Are you tall, or just like to sling your axe low? I chose these 2” wide woven Ernie Ball straps specifically because of their ample length – they’re fully adjustable from 38" to 68"!

[Any of the designs on these guitar straps can also be put on bag straps. These bag straps can be used with computer bags, camera bags, luggage, just about anything you can attach a strap to! The straps are 2" wide polyester with black metal swivel clips on each end. If you like a design, but prefer a bag strap, convo me, and I'll get right to work on it! (Bag straps are a bit pricier, so add about $5-$10 to the cost of the guitar strap.) Have a great idea for a strap? Bag straps can be customized!]
