A vintage engraving of Ficus benjamina from an original drawing by Joseph Selleny. This old botanical print of the weeping fig or Benjamin's fig was part of a book by Austrian botanist Anton Kerner von Marilaun. The book was originally published in German and translated into Italian, 1892.

This vintage print would be a perfect gift for someone interested in botanical art or natural history.

Size: approx. 10" by 6.5"

Excellent condition. The border where the vintage lithograph was attached to the spine is uneven but it will be easily covered when matted. The back is blank and paper is medium weight.

Please note that some of these images might show moire patterns, an undesired effect produced when scanning a halftone image. That effect doesn't exist on the real lithograph.

This is the actual page from the 1892 book, not a reproduction.
