Hecate is a Greek goddess associated with crossroads, entrance-ways, light, magic, witchcraft, knowledge of herbs and poisonous plants, ghosts, necromancy, and sorcery. She is often depicted as a triple goddess, maiden, mother, and crone.

This beautiful small wet-felted bag was made of crottle-dyed Wensleydale lamb locks on Corriedale batting. Crottle is a lichen which gives a bronze color to the wool. The closure is a ceramic bead with a four-strand braided waxed cord that passes through the hole of the bead. It is a small work of art.

The bag is small (4.5" x 4" closed), and the inside is smaller (3.5" x 3.25") due to having needle-felted it together on the right side, the perfect size for a change purse or business-card holder.
