Beautiful McCoy Pottery 11'' Yellow Centerpiece Bowl or Planter with flowing, ridged sides and embossed leaf-like design on the bottom edge.

Produced by McCoy in 1948 it is pictured in Volume 1, page 149 of the Hanson/Niessen book of McCoy Pottery.

It has the raised McCoy mark.

Condition of the bowl is what I call "perfectly imperfect". It has the usual McCoy glaze skips and a chip that was glazed in the firing process. see photo. There is some age-related crazing which is to be expected.

Measures 11'' long, 3 3/8'' tall and 7 1/2'' front to back. Like most McCoy pottery it is quite heavy and solid, weighing almost 3 pounds.

This bright yellow piece is a wonderful example of Mc Coy and would make great addition to any collection.
