How to Mount your life size Santa.

This is a full color vintage fifties poster of Santa Claus. It was manufactured by Clayton Specialty Mfg. Co., Chicago, but was issued by Riegel Paper Corporation, New York, NY as an advertising item for their papers.

On the back of the poster is noted "This jolly Santa is lithographed in four colors on one of the unique Riegel papers Tufwhite Weatherproof Bristol. Because this tough Riegel paper is fiber-conditioned for all kinds of weather you can use Santa for your home decorations or your outdoor tree. Punched holes permit lights to be strung." An extraordinary mid-century Santa.

Color poster, 58 x 21 inches, with perforations around the figure of Santa so that (as the directions describe) he can be punched out and taped "to any surface indoor or outdoor using any scotch or masking tape."

Published by Riegel Paper Corporation New York. 1959.

Good condition: some areas of perforation separating, light creases across the lower half of the poster from rolling, two small tape marks on the back of the poster.
