The combination of shearling with it's breathability and the suppleness of rough-out sheepskin simply cannot be equaled by imitations. The slippers feature wool-out seams and a tough cowhide sole for durability.

Shipping was fine, and I like these slippers with a few buts. Pros: Very warm and pretty comfortable Cons: Not durable (the stitching from the fromt to the toe started unravelling the first day!), not as pretty as the ones in the picture (the picture had a lovely tuft of sheepskin at the top of the boot, whereas on mine, one has a very slight tuft while the other has none at all. So they are quite uneven.) The "prettiness" is not a huge deal for me, but the stitch quality is. If they were sewn with stronger thread/double sewn then these would be great! But I find it hard to believe they will hold up to normal wear since I am already repairing them. I will likely purchase again from this shop, but I will just drive to Alma to see everything firsthand.

My first purchase on ETSY! and a successful one. i received the slippers and tried on right away: it's like walking on clouds...indoors! so fluffy and warm. I also like the fact that the top adjusts so you can fold up and down - thank you so much! the soles are smooth leather - not the lug soles - ...better than UGG ;)
