This is a large run of antique gold metallic lace. It dates to the Edwardian period and was used on the most beautiful gowns of the time. Bodice tops often incorporated this type of lace as well as skirt bottoms and sleeves. Perfect patina, a warm gold on silk net. The design is embroidered with heavier metallic threads giving it more dimension. Perfect for any clothing restoration, lampshades, pillows, etc.. Very nice condition. It measures 73" long by 6" wide.
Could also be used in an Art Deco project since the pattern is geometric. Better in person than in photos.
