This clever sterling silver magnetic clasp extender will convert any bracelet or necklace to a longer size that can easily be opened & closed with the magnetic clasp. Please check my shop for silver plated & gold plated varieties:

This extender is a bit under 1 inch (2.3 cm) long. & the magnets are just over 1/4 inch (6.5 mm) in diameter. You can also get a longer extender by purchasing the version with a sterling curb chain attached, shown in the final photo. The chain is available in 1/2 inch increments up to 3 inches, which would give you nearly 4 inches (10 cm) of extension. The curb chain is 3 mm (almost 1/8 of an inch) across, and is also .925 sterling silver.

To use this extender, you attach each end of your jewellery to the clasp and loop ends of the extender respectively. To open and close the extender, grasp each magnet and pull them apart; DO NOT pull on the chain, other clasps etc. as that can cause undue stress on the piece and may lead to breakage eventually.

You can also purchase this listing to add a sterling silver magnetic clasp to any of my sterling silver necklaces you purchase - I will add it directly for you.

Magnetic clasps are an ideal jewelry solution for people with mobility or dexterity disabilities. I have many more disability-friendly items here: http://etsy.me/16ph1Jg
Many have self-closing clasps or are clasp free!
