Mad dub siren style noises and some glitchy melodies from this little beast. Feedback distortions and tones create all sorts of unusual oscillations for crazy sound effects, along with an LFO and light sensor for movement and performance, and an added internal oscillator circuit for pitchability over the built in sounds.

Added Features:

Pitch Knob & Pitch Disable Switch
Light Sensor with On/Off Switch
2 Feedback Modes
Feedback Knob
Voltage Drop Knob
Distortion Switch
LFO On/Off Switch
LFO Depth Knob
LFO Rate Knob
LFO Rate Indicator LED
1/4" Jack Output

The build in 'Music' mode can easily be enabled by inserting the supplied "Play Along" card - this lets you use the buttons on the front to play your own tunes, while twisting them up with the added mangling controls!

The Feedback switch brings about some utterly twisted tones. flicking it up or down activates the Feedback tone, which is where the bulk of the twisted sounds come from. The tone's pitch is controlled via the Feedback knob, and adjusting the Starve knob changes the tone, volume and intensity of the effect. As the Starve knob is effectively reducing the amount of battery power going to the device, this is where the sound can start getting a bit unpredictable!

There's a distortion switch to add a gritty overdrive to the original sound output. The Feedback, Distortion and Voltage Starve knobs and switches all interact together to control the base oscillator of the noise generator - often changing according to the sound coming out of the unit's CPU, making for some crazy sequences and arpeggios. Some insane sounds can be had here!

To add further interest and movement to the sound, an internal Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO) has been added. When switched on, the LFO will affect the Feedback amount, creating a two-tone siren sound. Adjusting the LFO Depth knob changes the difference between the two tones, and turning the LFO Rate knob speeds up or slows down the frequency of the oscillator, which gives scope for typical siren type sounds or more bizarre fast drilling noises.

For extra control, the Light Sensor can be switched in - this is where the lower part of the switch is pushed in, and the top part protrudes. When turned on, covering up the sensor to the right of the switch will make the pitch of the Feedback tone rise - this opens up possibilities of controlling the Feedback tone with one hand and the LFO Rate with the other - which can be a lot of fun and great for performances! Interesting counter-rhythms can be created using high Starve settings in conjunction with the LFO.

As always, a 1.4" output jack provided to send the output to a recording device, amp, or run it through effects pedals... and believe us, you should!

Please note: The original battery cover is missing from this device. A replacement piece of perspex has been cut to fit in place and hold the batteries in securely, but tape is still required to hold the perspex in place. I have reduced the price of the device to compensate.
