I've always been amazed by the beauty and wholesomeness of home canned produce. Canning not only preserves fruits and vegetables at the peak of freshness, but also recalls the traditions and care taken to provide family and guests year round with the host's very best! During the 2011 Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, Kansas, this collection of vegetables canned by a woman from Wichita won Grand Champion. The asparagus, carrots, new potatoes, beets, corn, and lima beans had a beautiful range of colors, textures, and reflections.
Watercolor completed September 2011 during the 'Plein Aire' competition on location at Kansas State Fair. Recieved 2nd Place! Printed on archive quality matte photo paper. (copyright image not part of sale item)
