What the world needs now is....

An original Robert Indiana vintage ring in hefty solid brass
with gold-plated overlay. Iconic, mid-century modern design
with sort of a faux bois detailing on the sides.

(wide 'hugging' band design seems to fit a bit more snugly,
so please keep in mind)

The perfect gift -- bold, chunky design suitable for both men
and women. Thick and meaty, it rises about 7mm off the finger,
the image face measuring 3/4" square. I think this will always be
rather collectible, more so going forward, eternally fresh and hip.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition - nice shine.
Several tiny dings, some light scratches and scuffing on the face
(which actually seems to make it resemble real gold) -- normal wear
for its 40+ years of age. Will leave any cleaning up to buyer.

HISTORY: One of the best known Pop Art images ever, the LOVE
design was originally created in the mid sixties for the MOMA.
So popular, it achieved postage stamp status in 1973.
I believe this ring was produced in 1970 or '71.
Born in 1928, Robert Indiana settled in New York and
became part of the Pop Art movement, along with
Warhol, Lichtenstein, Jasper Johns and others.
