Own a unique piece of history with this ring fashioned from a salvaged turquoise tile of the Salton Sea's famous North Shore Motel. Built in the 1950's as a companion to the Albert Frey designed North Shore Yacht Club next door, the motel fell into disrepair, was abandoned like a majority of the buildings around the Sea, and was unfortunately demolished in December 2008. In it's halcyon days the Yacht Club and Motel were the playground of Hollywood celebrities including Jerry Lewis, The Beach Boys and The Marx Brothers. Imagine, it's even possible that Groucho (or Harpo if you prefer) once showered while surrounded by the beautiful tile on your finger. Now that is a story to tell!

The tile is roughly 3/4" x 5/8" and is wrapped in copper wire . The ring pictured is a size 7 but I can make one to your custom size- just contact me.

Please note that all pieces are unique, handmade with weathered tiles and may vary slightly from the photo.

Please contact me with any questions. I will ship internationally-please contact me with your location for an accurate shipping quote.
Thank you so much for looking and visiting The Salton Riviera!
