This one-of-a-kind original painting was used by Mayfair Games in printing the American edition of Catan the Cities and Knights expansion.

I was excited to have the opportunity to work on this fantastic game, even more so because the expansion was set in the High Middle Ages. This period of History is a real inspiration to me. I live on the beautiful Cheshire plain, close to Alderley Edge, one of the possible resting places of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Because of this, Arthurian Legend and the Middle Ages have always held a fascination for me.

My wife (who is a keen nededlewoman) modelled the figure who represents the cloth industry. She carries the tools of her trade at her waist.

The watercolour measures 164mm by 104mm. (approximately 4 inches by 6 and a half Inches)

It comes flat-packed, signed and complete with a certificate of authenticty.

Are you a Catan fan? This would make a great addition to your Catan collection.
