The tiny puff cap sleeve with one side high-slit design offers a feminine and elegant fit with open back detail. The top bodice features a round neck with delicate cover button closure detail over the open back. This Fiore midi dress sewing pattern is perfect for beginner to intermediate, due to the invisible zipper and bias inbinding along the neckline, back waist and button opening finishing method. Other than that, this pattern is super pretty and easy to follow!
I have included detailed instructions for how to sew invisible zipper, sew binding using bias cut and with remaining fabric to make cover button and button loop. Take time and don’t rush it! Always test sew the fabric before attempting the final garment!

Fabric and Notions:
This Fiore dress pattern has been designed for light to medium weight polyester crepe to create the elegant look without adding lining. The tutorial was made with medium weight poly crepe fabric.
For this pattern you will need:
•Up to 2 yards of 60”/152cm width of fabric and up to 2 1/2 yards of 45”/ 115cm.
•1” width finished bias binding length of the waist opening the length varies based on your sizea
•7”~9” long invisible zipper
•Dritz Size 1/2” Cover Button Refill #14 Kit
