This is very clean, locally grown llama fiber from "Moonbeam". It can be used in many ways from felting to weaving. Llama fiber spins and wet felts very easily. It produces a soft, warm, durable yarn that will develope a fuzzy "halo". It works very well for making knitted and fulled items such as rustic looking bags or vests.

Llama fiber by itself does not have the elasticity of wool but if you have a carder you could create your own unique blends. Because it is easily felted, wash any garment you make from your handspun with care in lukewarm water. This fiber has not been bleached, commercially dehaired or undergone carbonization. Trace amounts of vegetation may be present. The roving was prepared at Frankenmuth Woolen Mill in Michigan.

More roving from Moonbeam is available. Please contact the shop if you need a larger amount.

PLEASE BE ADVISED that we include a moth chaser sachet packaged in a sealed bag in all orders over $10 shipped within the USA and Canada unless customer requests we omit this little gift with their package.
