Here's another one of my tippers or Irish drum sticks. This one is turned from Dymondwood. Dymondwood is a manufactured product made for several thin layers of birch hardwood which is stained in a variety of colors and then glued together. The resulting block is then impregnated with resin under pressure forming a strong, impervious wood product. The colors in this tipper are orange, green and tan (Irish Flag?). Tipper is 9 3/8" long and about 1/2" in diameter at the playing ends and 3/8" in the middle. I play the bodhran in a local Irish session and like to use different tippers for different types of tunes. I create many different styles of tippers out of many types of hardwood. No one says a drumstick has to be ugly.

I make my tippers in a tiny shop here in Montana. I turn each tipper one-at-a-time and no two are exactly alike. My tippers make a unique gift for yourself or for family and friends.

Visit my SHOP for more tippers as well as pens, hair forks, original photographs and children's picture books. (I do a lot of stuff.)

If there is a certain style of tipper you are looking for convo me and we'll talk.

Thanks for looking.
