This is an antique still bank. North Pole Save your money and freeze it. What a fun still bank of cast iron. Minimal pitting and paint loss for age. The churn handle turns, but not very smoothly.
The bottom cast iron stopper can be opened / removed (for getting coins out). There is a small opening on it where you can use a small screwdriver or other tool to turn the cap to release. You can actually turn it with your fingers, too.
There are words on bottom stamped on the stopper. The words are, "PAT P (the lone 'P' has a line under it) FEB 2 1875"

Measures about 4 " by 2 1/2".
Lot:1111-10
