Hi Everyone,

This piece is titled "The Making of a City", and is part of my encaustic (beeswax) series of paintings.

The painting was created on a 6"x12" cradled wood panel that's 3/4" thick. I use R&F encaustic paints, because of their beautiful, translucent quality along with ephemera to create this piece.
There are also 9 real leaves/flowers along with hand dyed thread, and parts of an old letter under the encaustic as part of the painting - a truly one of a kind piece!!

**Image #2 shows the entire painting.

The sides of are unpainted.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
Angela~
