Rainy Day Instruments presents ..#010...Deep Purple Uke-Bass. Antique wooden handmade Bass with complete 2011 make-over. Been sanded super smooth, car primer and paint were used to get a metallic purple sheen. Primer was sanded trough in spots to give the paint a place to break, creating an effect of antiquing. Matte finish is rubbed out, not perfect, but a super eye opener and show stopper. Fretless neck, with a 25" scale, it can be packed for the road easilly and substitute for that stand-up. Has real Bass tuners. 42" tall, 13" wide, 3" thick, and it only weighs a few pounds. Chrome Bass tuners. You can play these soft strings forever without getting tired or sore! Piezo pick-up and 1/4 mono jack. One of my finest instruments yet. REAL MoJO here. Will have serial # tag and Certificate of authenticity from RAINY DAY INSTRUMENTS. I have been making musical instruments for nearly 20 years! More than half of my art/music pieces i have sold in the last couple of years have been to non musicians either to display or to gift. I am so happy to offer this One time instrument that can Never be duplicated. Looks nice in the living room too! Here is a sound file to hear it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC2qJi0K7h0
All instruments are handmade from recycled or used instrument parts including the strings, and so they may have some small nicks, or scratches. They all have straight necks and are good players. Guaranteed to last unless dropped or stepped on.
