Chamomile Ylang Ylang Silk Shampoo Soap is full of ingredients. This rich shampoo soap is made even more so by the additions of chamomile in distillate form and oil form, st. johnswort, aloe vera, honey, and oil of ylang ylang. Oil of ylang ylang smells sweetly of flowers on a warm spring day.

Directions for use: Wet hair thoroughly. Apply the soap to the length of your hair until soapy, then apply to your scalp by rubbing it front to back or back to front until you begin to experience lather. This will not take long. Lather up your hair and head. Rinse it off with warm or cool water. Shampoo soap rinses cleanly quickly. You're done.

If you have hard water, you may want to apply a very diluted (1-2 tsp. per quart of water) apple cider vinegar rinse as your final rinse to act as a chelating agent. Chelating agents help the minerals in our hair leave with the water.

Ingredients:
coconut oil
castor oil
olive oil
sodium hydroxide in distilled water with raw silk
jojoba
chamomile distillate
aloe vera juice
honey
chamomile and st. johnswort in olive oil
oil of ylang ylang

Packaged as a chunk style (2 7/8"x2"x11/4") @ 4.5 oz. bar with full disclosure label.

**For me, there was no transition from liquid commercial shampoo to my own natural shampoo soaps. I was not connected to the net back then, so I never gave it a thought. After 4 years being on the net and reading everyone's experiences with shampoo soaps, I think I was just lucky. I knew to use a vinegar rinse even though my reasons were off. I still use one today, 8 years later. When I began using shampoo soap, my hair was awful, menopausal, coming out in clumps, dull, and stringy. The first wash with a shampoo soap saw different results that quickly. I never looked back and have used only these soaps since. I use herbal vinegars I've made.
