A spearing decoy made by Minnesota carver George Randall. Randall decoys were made on a semi commercial basis beginning in the 1950s and are great collectibles because of the wide, diverse number of sizes, colors and paint patterns employed by this prolific maker. This example dates to the 1960s and measures 7 1/2" long and is in original, worn and used condition with some normal paint loss. George Randall decoys are great collectibles that reflect the golden age of spearing in the midwest and are destined to be good investments over time.
