The Flintstones Radio Fred Flintstone Vintage Radio Transistor in original Box with Warranty & Operating Instructions original Battery strap and Earplug,

This is a rare Hanna-Barbara Fred Flintstone Flintstones Transistor Radio, Solid State, in the original box, un-opened in the plastic covering, intact on the inside - intact in the clear plastic covering on the inside as it was assembled at manufacture to be sold in stores.

This is a riot of a radio. Beautiful, in the original box.

The inner plastic covering has never been taken off and the scotch tape is the original that was utilized by the manufacturer to tape it in the back in-box. Also inside are the original battery, carrying strap, warranty card and earplugs. I got this beautiful radio from a store that was closing in the late 1970's and never removed this treasure from the inner see-thru plastic covering.

The original manufacturers' warranty card was placed inside the box on top of the clear plastic. On the warranty card is the warranty, instructions to operate Smokey, and a section at the bottom which is to be returned to Sutton - its got the address and a place for a stamp on one side and all the owners' information on the other. It has not been filled in.

The battery is a HW Hi-Watt, 9 Volt.

The box is in Excellent vintage condition, the number '5' hand written at the top right corner, the small original price sticker is on the bottom edge panel, no broken corners, no separations at the corners, no rips, no tears on the box or images. Only the bottom of the box, the white bottom, has a small indention mark and a slight tear at one corner. The box is very sturdy with normal vintage petina of age, shelf life and wear.

Fred is an overall beautiful object, with the plastic retaining its' original color from manufacture.

The radio was manufactured by Sutton Associates of New York City. Made In Hong Kong. It looks to be from sometime in 1960's or early 1970's.
