This hardwood bird feeder is stained and protected with 3 coats of an exterior clear marine finish. The 1/4" thick polycarbonate windows are reclaimed. The feeder is approximately 13"L x 10"W x 11"H. It can be mounted on your post, or hung from overhead (the ends of the ridge pole are drilled for your #10 eye bolt or 1/8" cord.) The one piece roof sheds rain and is secured against wind and most squirrels, yet it easily lifts straight up for filling, no tools required. The windows allow you to see when the feeder needs to be re-filled.

I keep one like it (picture above) up during the winter and stock it with black oil sunflower seeds. In this part of Ohio we get Cardinals, Blue Jays, House Finches, Tufted Titmouses (or is that Titmice), Chickadees, American Goldfinches, and even a Red Headed Woodpecker. In addition in the spring we have Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. For the most part they all seem to get along although the Grosbeaks can be bullies.

A recent buyer has this to say "Thank you so much for this beautiful bird house!!! My friend absolutely loved it and I will be buying one for myself in the future :)."
