This early 1940s gown truly is too magical for words to properly describe; it is sure to be the star of any woman’s collection, and of any especially special event to which she decides to wear it. The beaded phoenix in and of itself is a true work of handcrafted art, and the shape of the dress is as Old Hollywood Starlet as it can possibly get. A deeply glamorous piece that was made to be treasured and shown off. And in exquisitely remarkable condition, too!

This artful designer gown was made over 70 years ago -- it is truly a treasure and one of a kind! There is not another one like it in all the world!!

One incredibly tiny pull in the fabric on the bodice. Just the slightest degree of tarnish on a couple of the sequins, which actually adds to their beauty. This dress is in truly unbelievable condition for a gown of its age -- the beading is fully in tact! So rare, and truly remarkable!
