The Lion Rampant from the Royal Banner of Scotland, is part of a larger design. The earliest recorded use of the Lion Rampant as a royal emblem in Scotland was by Alexander II in 1222.

This 2-Pence coin (2008) is currently circulated in the United Kingdom. It's size is ever-so-slightly larger than a US quater.

The lion charm is a perfect, salvage find! It is metal with a soft gray finish.

The cord is black neoprene (like a diver's wet suit) with a sterling silver clasp, and 18" in length. A top-quality item that is made in the USA.

If you would like to see an aspect of this design *tweaked* ~ just drop me a note. We'll talk!
